Mythical and Legendary Pokémon are a group of incredibly rare and very powerful Pokémon usually featured in legends and myths. No explicit criteria define what makes a Pokémon legendary. Mythical Pokémon are a related but separate group of Pokémon. The only way to identify a Pokémon as belonging to a group is through official media statements related to the games or anime.

Legendary Pokémon
In addition to the high basic parameters that most legendary Pokémon, many of them can be obtained after victories in Raid Battles. Legendary Pokémon are usually only found in raids. Mythical pokemon
Mythical Pokemon considered one of the rarest Pokémon in world mythology. Some of them seem unknown to most people, while others are considered myth. They usually get minimal exposure during normal gameplay. They are then unlocked to players months or years after the debut of their respective generation.
With a few exceptions, Mythic Pokémon cannot be obtained in-game through normal gameplay. Usually they can only be obtained after completing special assignments or, in rare cases, after successful raid battles.
The very first and most important difference between legendary and mythical Pokemon is the impossibility of catching the latter in normal gameplay. To catch mythical Pokemon, you need to complete special quests or wait for a themed event.
