Legendary Raid Boss Latias will return to Pokémon GO on Friday February 22nd, and will be with us until Monday February 25th, 2019. Legendary Pokemon Latias will be available in level 5 raids difficulties. Latias is one of the Eon Duo dragons.
Latias in Pokemon GO is a special weekend Raid Boss
- The event starts on February 22, 2019 at 13:00 Pacific time;
- Event ends on February 25, 2019 at 13:00 pm PT;
- Rare Pokémon Latias will join the raids in the Special Raid Weekend;
- If you're lucky, you can get the Shiny Latias.

In addition, another event will take place this weekend along with Latias - Pokemon Clamperl Day.
As Niantic confirmed, Legendary Pokemon Palkia will stay in raids with Latias. As was the case with Creselia, it was available during weekend lugia and ho-oh.
Take advantage of the weekend of February 23-24 to defeat Latias... Gather a group with other trainers and go hunting. Latias may not be the strongest dragon in Pokémon GO, but this beast is well worth the effort.

This Pokémon has a lot of vitality, but it is weak against bugs, dragons, ghosts, fairies and Pokémon of the ice and dark type.
It has also been confirmed that Latios will appear on his special raid weekend in the future. So you'll have a chance to grab both of the Aeon dragons and possibly the brilliant ones.
