Niantic Announces Nearest 2020 Safari Zone In St. Louis City To Be Delayed Due To Concerns COVID-19 Coronavirus... No date has been set yet, but the company is exploring alternative dates over the next 12 months and will provide an update as soon as possible.

Players who choose to return their tickets can do so by requesting a refund of their money through support at Pokemon GO app. The deadline to apply for a refund is March 25, 2020 at 23:59 pm PT. If you do not request a refund, you will be able to use your existing ticket for the transferred Safari Zone St. Louis.

As an added bonus for those who keep their tickets, Niantic will be activating this Safari Zone's Pokémon spawning, as well as special research on a global scale. This will occur during the originally scheduled Safari Zone hours at your local time. Although Safari Zone 2020 is not currently taking place in St. Louis, it will allow you to enjoy the event anyway, no matter where you are in the world. Only ticket holders will be able to take part in this bonus event.

No action is required to keep your ticket and participate in the global gameplay. Niantic will email ticket buyers an update on the event and next steps.

The next two Safari Zones, in Liverpool и Philadelphiaare still planned, as originally announced. Niantic will review the situation in early April, however, so stay tuned.

As a reminder, coaches around the world can still enjoy regular gameplay and most in-game of events... Players who are in areas with a higher risk of getting COVID-19 are advised to refrain.
