In the end it all comes down to what Pokemon can deal the most damage to Pokémon enemy. For example, a Fire Pokémon with a Fire Attack is strong against a Grass Monster. However, Fire Pokémon tend to be weaker against Pokémon that have water and ground attacks. Therefore, it is important know the strengths and weaknesses of each type.
