As part of the 2019 Pokemon GO Appraise update, each stat is split into three bars. Pokémon statistics are based on how many bars are full. Each bar can be broken down into five sections, but they themselves do not appear on the score graph. They determine how strong the parameters of an individual Pokémon are.
For example, a Pokémon only has one full bar on its attack stats. This means that his attack stat has a specific IV, which is five. If two bars are full, it is 10 IV. If there are three of them, then the animal has 15 IV.
Be aware that Pokémon stat bars may not be completely full. So, for example, a Pokémon's defense indicator can only have one and a half bars. This would rate them at eight IV values.
