Team R's Invasion of PokéStops
How to find a team Team Rocket in Pokemon GO? Easy, you just need to find the required PokéStop. It can be recognized by its darker shade of blue, which has a shimmery effect on the world map. They can be easily missed if you don't pay attention to them. Therefore, be sure to study the map carefully.
These PokéStops are visible to all players of level 8 and above, and they have a hidden 30-minute timer. When the timer expires, the PokeStop will no longer be under the control of the Team Rocket. When you enter the Invasion Pokestop's area, it will turn black and Team R will appear.
To start a battle with them, you need to spin this PokéStop. After completing Team Rocket Battle, PokeStop will return to its normal form. But for other players, it will still be invaded by Tim Rocket.
There is no daily limit on the number of Team Rocket Invasion playthroughs in the game. Only one battle can be fought on one PokéStop.
Team Rocket battle
Team Rocket battles are very similar to regular PvP battles. You will fight Team Rocket Grunts, who have only a few Pokémon in their arsenal so far.
The battle takes place in a 3 by 3 Pokémon format, as in PvP battles of Trainers... Unlike regular fights with other players, your Pokémon will not automatically heal after a battle.
Defeating Tim Rocket gives you a chance to catch Shadow Pokemon with Premier Balls. But if you lose the battle, you can try again.
How to catch Shadow Pokemon
After defeating the invasion, you can catch the Shadow Pokemon, which was left there by the criminal organization. There are currently only a few Pokémon that can appear to be captured after battle:

Shadow Pokémon appears at levels 1 through 5, and 6-10 if there is a weather boost. And the player gets several Premier Balls to catch him. The number of balls depends on how many Pokemon survive the battle, as well as the quality of your Purify Pokemon Medal and Defeat Team Rocket Medal badges. But in any case, everyone will get 5 standard balls.
How to cleanse Shadow Pokémon
Shadow Pokémon in Pokemon GO are pretty bad on their own, but can be cleared by spending Stardust and Candy. You can clear a Pokémon using the Purify button on the Dark Pokémon information card. After cleansing, it will turn into a refined form. All such Pokémon have several features and benefits:
- A purified Pokémon always gets level 25;
- They receive +2 points for all IV characteristics that the Shadow form had;
- The Frustration attack will be replaced by the Return attack;
- Less dust is needed to pump them;
- They can be exchanged for another Pokémon;
- Pokémon can be placed on a tower;
- Shadow Pokemon can be exchanged for candy with the professor;
- They cannot be transferred to the Pokemon Let's GO game.
